Lantz Choral Publications
Our Purpose —
The idea behind Lantz Choral Publications is to publish musical compositions written and
arranged solely by David Lantz III and/or Marti Lunn Lantz (along with other collaborators),
allowing for artistic freedom to be creative, while at the same time providing a wide variety of
useful and musically appealing compositions for church, school and community choirs, as well
as solo artists such as pianists, vocal soloists and instrumentalists. Lantz Choral Publications
enables publications of ALL compositions deemed worthy of publication, when for a myriad of
reasons, other publishers may decline.
About David Lantz III —
David Lantz III is a published composer of sacred and educational music, with between 700 and
800 compositions in print, dating as far back as 1981. His other publishers include Beckenhorst
Press, Shawnee Press, Hal Leonard Publishing, Alfred Music Publishing, Lorenz Corporation,
Jubilate Music and many others. A multi-faceted musician, he taught public school music, from
Kindergarten through college, for 32 years, and regularly performs as a pianist, bassist, and
vocalist in venues that support live jazz. He also does choral adjudication work, festival
conducting, session leading, and continues to conduct a local church choir. His publishing
activities include composing and arranging, orchestrating, music editing, professional music
typesetting, and producing recording sessions. He has been married to composer/lyricist Marti
Lunn Lantz for over 30 years. They have six grown children.
About Marti Lunn Lantz —
Marti Lunn Lantz has had much success as a composer and lyricist. She is part of the Lois
Brownsey and Marti Lunn Lantz team, who have written many popular educational chorals,
especially for the elementary and middle school age. In addition, she has collaborated on many
pieces with her husband David, both for Lantz Choral Publications and for many other
publishers, as well. Marti is a private teacher of piano and voice, a church organist and pianist,
and a gigging musician. She, too, has done a great deal of professional music typesetting.

We do not sell or even display music at our website. This is all done at our retailers. Choose
from J.W. Pepper, Sheet Music Plus, and Sheet Music Direct to view, listen and purchase music
and related items. All of our products are on display exclusively at these retailers, and available
for purchase as well. We suggest that you start out by perusing our catalog, which can help in
searching for a particular title, or specific types of pieces.
